Underwater Fun

Well, I finally did it. I have been wanting a waterproof camera for years and everytime we were going to buy a new camera I was talked out of getting one. Costco had a great deal on one so I bit the bullet and bought one and I couldn't be happier.

We took it out for a test drive this week at the rec center. The kids loved getting their picture taken under water.

(It kinda looks like Andrew is about to flip me off. ;))
 The boys
Love what my girls look like in their goggles. I don't know how they can even see with them on. They can barely open their eyes.
The boys seem to have a little bit easier time opening their eyes and don't look so Quasimoto-ish

So far I have loved the camera and can't wait to take it on other water adventures. Especially tubing down Greys River.

Costco Run

What happens when you decide to go to Costco after swim lessons in a car that has no storage space and every seat occupied with a body?
Luckily the kids were pretty excited to get to hold on tight to all our purchases. And I am happy to report we didn't lose one thing in the wind.

Girls Lunch

I have a lot to blog about, but haven't made the time to do it. So, I am doing an easy one today. And I stole a picture from Jamie's blog to do it too. Last Friday we went out to lunch (kidless) to The Corner Bakery. It was a great meal with great company.
Always fun to get out with the girls without having to worry about kids too!

Sunscreen?

What happens when you forget to put on sunscreen, and play in a pool on the hottest day of the year for 6 hours straight?
Just for the record I was at work....

Family Fun Day

Family Fun day happened over last weekend and we were able to take advantage of it. The kids loved it and loved eating everything in sight.
First thing we had to do was the rock climbing. Aiden loves to climb anything and did it in record time.
Oakley followed and was almost just as fast. She did awesome for having a tiny little body.
There was face painting. Aiden was having fun with Grandpa Brad at the time, so he didn't get his face painted until the end.
Like I said we ate everything in sight, snow cones, popcorn, and ice cream cones. And everything was delicious.
They even provided a lunch of hot dogs, potato salad, chips, pickles, watermelon, and a cookie. And did I mention everything was free. Probably the best part.
And these two are genetic clones. Its amazing how much they look like each other.
And we finished the day of with a giant slip and slide.
It was a great time and a great way to pass some time while Trent was at scout camp. Thanks to Brooke, Ben, Jenny, Grandma Teri, and Grandpa Brad for helping with The Hoard!

Last Days of School!

Wow. I am becoming a sub par blogger. It is sad really. I will try to be better, but I am not making any promises. Now I will try and play catch up. First up, the last days of school.

Paige and Morgan went to the dinosaur park for their last day of school. They got to have a picnic, see some scary dinos, and have some 2 on 1 time with mom. This is the first time I have gone on a field trip with only 2 kids. It was fabulous.
The girls with Mrs. Eggett. We have loved preschool with her. She is such an amazing teacher and perfect for my kids. I would say that I will miss her, but Oliver will be going to her next year. I guess my preschool days aren't exactly over. ;)
And since Paige and Morgan graduated from Preschool they are going to Kindergarten next year (yep, I hear angels singing), which means kindergarten shots. They were very brave girls. Paige went first which was a good thing because she didn't even cry. Morgan, on the other hand had to be held down after the 1st of 4 shots. She was brave up until they poked her. ;)
Oakley graduated from Kindergarten. They had a great program where Oakley sang every song and did every action. She was pretty dang cute. We love her teacher Mrs Merrill. She is so cute with the kids.
And Oakley loved being in school with her 2 best friends. Thanks for a great year Izz and Care!
Oakley with her diploma. She was pretty proud. She woar her cap most the day.
There wasn't anything special for the boys graduating and I couldn't go to any of their last fun field trips, so I snuck into their class and took a picture with their teacher. We loved Mrs. Mobley! Actually I think the boys (mostly Aiden) even had a little crush on her.
It was a great school year and so far the Summer has been pretty good. Heck, I am still alive and, even more amazing, so are the kids. I think its going to be a good one.

First Day of Summer

I have a feeling we will be doing a lot of this over the Summer. The kids couldn't be happier that they get to play all day every day.
Trent even joined in the fun yesterday to cool off after a few hours of weeding.
Here is to a fantastic summer!
