We had a fabulous Easter this year. Here is a quick run down.
Saturday night we dyed eggs.
Which everyone loved, except maybe me and Trent.
Sunday morning the kids woke up excited to see what the Easter Bunny had brought.
The each found their buckets. Even Trent.
The kids ate a breakfast of candy, played with some new toys, and hung out around the house while Trent and I had our Easter gift of going back to sleep.
We tried to get a picture of the kids before church. This one kind of sums up how it went.
Then we headed to church and joined the fellow Jensens in documenting our back row worship.
Then it was of to the annual Dodee Easter Celebration. The kids were very sad that they wouldn't be able to see Dodee, so they picked out their very favorite dyed eggs, bought a flower, and we went and saw her on the way to the house.
We ate a delicious lunch full of Dodee food. Then Lori brought out something new. A Pinata!
The kids loved taking turns whacking that thing,
They loved what came out of it even better.
Then the traditional egg hunt. Always a favorite tradition.
And of course a photo op for the girls.
And another shot and getting a group shot. Still not that great. But it will have to do.
