Bottles at Last!!!

No more breastfeeding! EVER!
I am officially done feeding my girls. I have been looking forward to this day since I found out I was having twins again. I am so excited to have a normal body (somewhat.) Being pregnant and breastfeeding for 4 straight years has major affects on one's body. I have already enjoyed some new freedoms, eating out with Jamie and Heidi, shopping with my mom, and working during the girls eating times! It is so nice not to have to rush home to feed girls!!
This is the first day of the bottle. Paige was not very happy and it took a while to get her to take it. She was trying to climb over Morgan to get to me, screaming the whole time.
After a day the girls were experts at the bottle. It is so nice to set them on the ground and have them feed themselves!

FREEDOM!!!
It is so nice when 'babies' are not so little anymore and move on to the older stuff. 4 years!! It really must feel wonderful (maybe after you stop being sore and full....are you?? So sorry if you are.)

Man, I hear you on that. I'm already thinking twice about it. I'm glad they took bottles so well, it was difficult for Leah to adjust.

So exciting....I have to admit I am a bit jealous. Whoever said that was more convenient anyway??

You forgot to mention that Jamie had to rush home to feed her girl! Blah. I'm only into breastfeeding for 5 weeks and I'm already looking forward to the finish line. Congrats. You deserve to have at least one milestone behind you.

I'm so impressed that you lasted so long with all your kids and all the busy-ness! You're a champ! Dare I admit that I'm already done breastfeeding Eliza? I know, I'm a failure, but my body just doesn't love producing milk and I dry up. (I have to admit that the freedom is pretty great, though.) Congrats to you!!!!

Congratulations! I never did the breastfeeding thing, so bottles have always been my best friends, but I commend anyone who does it because I know it's so much better for the kids.
