Odds & Ends

I have a few pictures on my camera that really don't have much to do with anything that important, but sometimes the everyday simple things are the funnest to look back on.

Sometimes running is just great. Especially when you get to see the sun come up.

My girls have the worst bed head. Paige's was extremely good this particular morning.

Sometimes we facetime with each other.

And sometimes we take naps together.

We got a snow cone machine and lots of delicious flavors. One of the kids favorite treats.

I was driving around and saw this street. Had to take a pic and send it to all the "Garys" in my life

On one of my horrible long runs I came across a garage sale and found this. It's exactly like the one I had growing up so of course I had to make them hold it for me until I ran home to get money and a car. I love it.

Trent runs my long runs with me. It really makes them so much better.

Morgan is Trent's shadow. She loves helping him with everything.

And the rest of The Hoard is pretty good at helping too. We are loving our new siding.

We were able to spend a day with Papa Bob. Unfortunately I didn't get any picture with him, but we did take a lunch break to Chick-fil-a for lunch and ice cream cones.

And got to enjoy some topless driving.

I laughed when I came home and saw my sweat marks after this run. Makes me smile. Ha Ha.

My mom was nice enough to watch the kids so Trent and I could fit a 16 miler in. She even fed us breakfast and watched the kids while I went grocery shopping. She's the best.

Paige's First Tooth

Paige lost her first tooth. It was a long time coming.

And luckily the tooth fairy found her.

The Great Gatsby

We had been wanting to see The Great Gatsby for a while now and we finally made a date. It was last minute so only a few of us could go. We hit up Training Table and enjoyed a dessert of succors at the show.
Love these ladies and love that we can have so much fun together.

I didn't love the show at first, but the more I think about it the more I am liking it and want to see it again.

24th of July

I love the 24th. It reminds me of my childhood. I loved going to the fair, eating junk food, the fish pond, and rides. And now I love to see my kids do all the things I loved growing up.

We had quite the group gathered to eat this delicious food.

One of my favorite things that they added last year is the photobooth. I don't know how much longer we will all fit, but I love these pictures.

Afterwards we watch the fireworks from our roof. I didn't take any pictures, but I made sure to photobomb Kim and Luke's.

For the actual 24th Trent ran in the Deseret News Marathon and I made 36 batches of Pom Pom's pancakes for our ward breakfast.

Afterwards Trent worked on the house and I did laundry.

We sure do know how to party.

It's What Fun Is

I loved having out season passes to Lagoon. Such a fun activity to do for a couple hours here and there. This kids loved it too.

Puff has been around forever.

And my kids love any ride that gets you wet.

Even just the water fountain.

We tried Lagoon-a-beach one day. It was a bummer for the girls because they were not tall enough for any of the rides. Maybe in a few years. ;)

And we got to have the Orris's join us, which was a treat.

Can't wait to get to Lagoon again for some spookiness this coming Halloween. Frightmares here we
come.

Another Weekend

We hit up Dollar Tree to spend some of The Hoard's earnings. I don't know why the kids get so excited to buy this stuff that is ends up in the garbage in a few days.

They got to enjoy a Molten Lava. One of the best desserts around.

And this is the thanks I get after these fun things. Andrew drew this in church.

I mean, if I am honest, it is pretty accurate.

Grandma Wiggles

My grandma is was in need of some help so The Hoard travelled up to SV for a few days. Always crazy traveling alone with this bunch.

We stopped by to see Pom Pom too. We love our Grandma's.

Oakley found the creepy tissue holder and found a new use for it. It may or may not have given me nightmares.

We went to Pizza Hut for dinner. A must in Star Valley. Dine in Pizza Huts are the best. I had to add this picture even though it didn't turn out because Wiggles cracks me up. She had no idea what was going on and didn't even face the camera.

And here is a slightly better one. The lighting was horrible for my iphone camera.

We ran some errands and stopped by the bank. The kids tried to move this bench. They came pretty close....

I went running in the mornings and had quite the time of it. It was beautiful scenery, but the animals were crazy. I had a dog charge me and this black bird swoop down multiple times at me. Like I said CraZay.
Grandma doesn't have air conditioning of any type in her home and it was flipping hot. I would set up fans everywhere and Grandma would get up at night and turn them all off.

In the mornings bright and early, she would wake me up,  turn on her heater, and then fall right back to sleep in her chair. Good thing she's cute.

I took her to her physical therapy appointment.

And the kids went bowling with Megan.

The Hoard is amazing at bowling. ;)

We played outside for a while.

And then hit up Pizza Hut one last time. You can't have too much of a good thing right?

Loved the days we got to spend with Grandma Wiggles. Not so sure she like having us or not. She actually thought she was babysitting 6 kids.. Ha ha.

Love my Grandma.

And I loved getting in my care and turning the air all the way down to 60. It was heaven.

On the way home we drove the route for my 2nd leg of the Wasatch Back. My ovaries cringed slightly with recognition.

The New Yorkers

Jake, Becky, and boys came into town during July. We met up for some swimming.

And, of course, some more underwater pictures.

This kid was a crack up. Loved him.

Got to spend some time with my Madre.

We enjoyed some grapes.

One night the adults hit up Mandarin. It was super delicious.

And then Neilson's for dessert. We did the Alien Face in honor of its founder Jake.

Then we had a cousin lunch at Robintinoes. It is always smart to put a group like up in the back room.

Always fun when the New Yorkers visit and so excited that they will be coming back permanently this Winter!! Wahoo!
