Insta Post

Here is another insta post. One of the easiest ways to get caught up.

The girls insist on doing their own hair lately. And I have learned to let them. They may look like orphans, but they love doing it.

And this girl is a lot lake me and loves her some Lay's.

And one night I woke up to a horrible smoke smell. I looked around the house thinking it was on fire and found Aiden cuddling with a burnt hot bag. He said he only put it in the microwave for 5 minutes. Needless to say our house smelled horrible for a few days.

These 3 kill me. They are so into movies and rating, discuss, and analyzing them. Their Man Club is Trent's favorite activity and he looks forward to it all month long.

I started babysitting the twins and it took me back to our crazy days.

Came upstairs to find Morgan utilizing the TP for something other than wiping.

I had to pull out my winter gear for some runs.

And the boys got to go to the premier of Captain America. They thought it was pretty darn cool.

Homework

The boys worked hard on their project and then they worked hard on destroying them.
They even took them outside and shot them with their airsoft guns.
Boys will be boys.

Celebrating

Have I said that I love my ward/book club? Well I do.
Some of my best friends are in this group. We decided to celebrate a couple birthdays with some custard from Neilsons.

And Trent was nice enough to watch the babies so Kim could go. He even held them and interacted with them.

St. Patty's

The kids set a trap to try and catch a leprechaun this year. No such luck. They just missed him. But they did leave him some goodies for trying.

And I got to celebrate at Yanni's with Yanni himself.

Moab Races 2014

Moab is one of our favorite places.
And the Moab Half and 5 Miler is one of our favorite races.
This year we were joined by my parents, their first time.

We got into Moab, picked up our packets, and then went to bed. We got up, packed up, and headed to the buses.

Loved showing my dad the ropes for his first ever individual race.

We all finished the race and loved every second of it. Sure is nice running with someone. Makes it go by so much faster. And my mom was an excellent cheerleader.

My dad and I even placed in our age division. I got 3rd and my Dad rocked it with 2nd.

Then we showered, grabbed some delicious grub at La Hacienda and went jeeping up Klondike Bluffs.

The wind almost blew us off the cliffs.

We went back to the city and did the usual shopping, hit up Pizza Hut and Moab Diner for dessert and then hit the hay.

We grabbed McDonalds on the way out of town. Perfect way to end a perfect weekend.

Bawbwa

Cute Barbara moved to St. George few months ago and the kids have missed her. She was in town and dropped off the cutest Easter basket for them. They were so excited.

It would have been even better if we actually got to see her too! Maybe next time we are in St. George we will make it over to her house.

Pinewood Derby

The boys had their first pinewood derby. They loved designing their cars and putting their own personalities into them.

They both did pretty well and Aiden came in 4th overall.

But really they couldn't wait to get home and make their own track to race them on.

March Ramblings

Since I am such a horrible blogger and picture taker these days I pretty much just look back on my instagrams and transfer them over. So it may be boring to you, but that's my life.

I went to the dentist, which I hate doing, but luckily had no cavities.

The boys helped Trent with our basement tear out.

I went on a run and felt the sunshine on my shoulders and loved every minute of it.

Jill was nice enough to invite me down for some crepes. They were oh so delicious.

She was also nice enough to share the secret to the long hair big curl. Still practicing, but at least it is sort of looking like it is supposed to.

And like I said before we are trying not to eat out anymore, so I am trying really hard to make dinners. One of our favorite's is Panko Chicken.

And I have a slight obsession with phone cases. Although I have stopped buying them now.

We were able to go to the Mueseum of Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point. Pretty darn cool place.

And I am still loving my bike and going on long rides. Although work and babysitting have kind of gotten in the way lately.

I went on a fiasco trip to try and wash my comforter. I may just be dumb, but I couldn't figure out how in the world to work those dumb landromat washers and no one was around to help me. So, I ended up just taking it to the cleaners.

And I found the perfect gift for Trent. If you have seen Looper you will probably understand.

We had a spontaneous lunch date from Chick-fil-a. It was so delicious.
The secret's in the sauce.

Rambling done.

Pale Green Pants

The girls were supposed to dress up as their favorite Dr. Seuss character and we pick the pale green pants of course. This is my favorite book and has turned into my kids favorite story as well. Probably  because it is always the one I choose to read to them.

D.I. scrubs made the perfect pale green pants for these two.

Andrew's Art

Andrew is loving his art class. And we are loving his latest masterpiece. Can't wait to find a place to put it.

Andrew had another art show and he loved it when people come support him. He is so lucky to have so many people that love him.

He even got to meet the Mayor and show him his projects.

Crazy Hair Day!

The kids had crazy hair day and Trent and I talked them into some pretty crazy hair. They are usually reluctant and then end up loving it.

Love these crazy kids.
