Just so you know...

...I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. We have had one of the busiest past few days, so busy I haven't even blogged. What? Really, it was that busy. For now here are a few 'Just So You Know's.'
  • I have a new job. I do the same thing as my other job just for a different company. Started today, should be good.
  • My little Oakley turned 3 over the weekend. We had a fun packed Dot Party to celebrate. Oakley loved every minute of it.
  • I tried Asparagus for the first time (thanks to Kristen) and loved it. It may be my new favorite veggie now.
  • Morgan has gone over 1 week without throwing up. I am thinking I might be able to take the ticker off soon.
  • We watched Slumdog Millionare. I loved it. Loved the music, the actors, and the story. Loved it
  • Thanks to my friend Melissa, I am starting a new challenge. No treats during the week. And yes, that means my dear friend, the Reese's Egg.
  • Closed on our refinancing stuff. It's great to have a lower rate/payment and not have to make a payment for a month. Perfect timing.
  • Had a fun Veigel breakfast, always good food. Love my mom's Aebleskivers, which are little ball pancakes for those that don't roll in Danish circles. Delicious.
  • Had a Sunday where we stayed home. Missed the good food and family, but it was nice to have a relaxing day.
  • We are getting caught up on our Tivo'd shows. Tivo is the greatest invention out there.
Stay tuned for some real posting soon...

Congrats on the new job...you weren't unemployed for very long. You should have taken more advantage of it! Where are you working now? Is it still weekends? Glad you have had a fun few days. Never saw Slumdog but then again there are a lot of movies I haven't seen these days. Glad you liked it. You have got some real self control if you can go without eating your eggs...I was tempted to enter the challenge but I just don't think I can do it so for now I'll have to just keep exercising and hope it works!

Congratulations on the new job, Amy. I haven't read any blogs in a while and I was behind, didn't know you even lost it. Congrats on all the rest as well. Sounds like things are going good in your household.

I was wondering what was up. When you don't comment on my blog after an hour of a new post, I start to worry about you. I am glad to hear you found a new job already! The other day I was going to send you a recipe I saw for homemade peanut butter cup brownies ~ I instantly thought of you when I saw them. It is probably a good thing I didn't!

I really need to get back in real life. I don't even know what Slumdog Millionare is! I'm guessing it's a movie? I can't believe you are trying no treats during the week. I can't make it past lunch everyday. I can't believe what a treat-a-holic I've become. Good luck with that! I would love to try Aebleskivers. I think you need to show a picture of the one next time. That sounds so cool. Asparagus is good stuff. I am so glad you are getting some space between you and throw up. Just because you're a nurse doesn't mean you can handle it everyday at home. I love the refinancing stuff. Wahoo. Sounds like things are good.
