Seriously, is this what cartoons have become? What happened to Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse (not the new Mickey Mouse Club House, I mean the old classic), HeMan, and Thundercats. Now those were some good cartoons...

I agree with you about the classic cartoons, but I LOVE Spongebob! Seriously, it is hilarious! I have the song memorized too!
I used to feel the same way about Spongebob! Now it is just about the only kid show that I can tolerate. It grew on me, now I think it is hillarious!
You can still get He-Man and Thundercats (and all the other good old shows) at the library. My kids rarely watch kid's shows on TV, they just watch DVD's, and it's usually the older shows.
I'm right there with you Amy. It baffles me!
Well I know they've been asking me to bring them some other cartoons that many would consider as an old classic...wait, are the Simpsons considred as classic cartoons??? THey have been around for 20 years...
Oh Geez...is this what I have to look forward too? haha
I totally agree!!! I'll never forget the first time I saw that show!!!!!!! SO dumb, but alas, my kids love it as well. They don't appreciate a good classic like Wyle E. Coyote chasing the Road Runner!!!!
I agree the new shows suck! And I did make that turkey
PLEASE get that on video! I'm am smiling just thinking about all five of them singing along with the TV. I love it!
And PS, I love your blog template.
PPS - I'm so sad I'm missing Twilight night. I'm still by myself on the couch while Mike is away. Bitter.
I really mis the good ole cartoons. Waking up on Saturday has never been less appealing. But the kids don't know better so Sponge Bob it is... That's funny that your kids really get into it!
