So onto my REAL goal for this New Year. One that I think is above all others and the most important thing in my life. Being a good Mom. And by good mom, I actually mean the most fun, amazing, spiritual, happy, patient, loving, best-friend-forever type of mom. That's what I want. And that's what my kids deserve.
Here is to the new 'good mom' Amy. Its going to be a great year for our family. Cheers.

You are a great mom Amy! Wish I were half the mom you are! But man, if it's your goal, then I know you will even do better...lucky kids!
I have a feeling you achieved this goal a LONG time ago, but I think it is a great idea to stick with it and continue to always have that thought in the back of your mind so you don't get off track. LOVE the picture of you and all your kids!
Amy!!! You are an amazing mom! Seriously, you are such a great example to me. I don't know how you do it with 5 little ones. Your kids are sure lucky to have both you and Trent as their parents. I think this is a great goal to CONTINUE, and I say continue because you are already doing a GREAT JOB at it.

Such a darling picture and what a great goal to start out with because you've already accomplished it!! Good Luck with becoming an even better Mommy! I too have made that same goal....especially with being more patient and not to raise my voice.
That is going to be one hard goal to reach, because you are already a GREAT mom! I don't know about you, but the old count-to-ten before you deal with a problems does wonders for me. It really looks like your going to have a fabulous 2010!

I agree with you. I think you need loads of work and I'm glad you set this up as your number one goal. Duh! Oh and you forgot one other child in the picture...what a bad mom ;).

Why is that we moms are so darn hard on ourselves? (Oh yeah, might be because we do the most difficult and most important job there is!) Amy, you are an AMAZING mother who inspires other moms every day! You have more energy and patience than I can ever dream of having. You make so many fun and interesting experiences for your kids all the time. I'll just say in my opinion you've already achieved this goal a long time ago, but keep up the good work! :)
