Jake is going to be ditching the New York scene and heading to St Louis in a couple months. He needed someone to help him move and make the journey to the Midwest. Trent was more than willing to help and I was more than willing to take a vacation to New York. Trent and I are going to check out Jake's crib, see the sights, attend some plays, eat, and shop. I will be flying home early to rescue our babysitters and Trent and Jake will do a road trip to St. Louis. Their trip is going to include some Major League baseball games on the way, which makes driving across half the country worth it. We are excited for the trip, not only to see Jake and New York, but to get a little break from all our kids. Thanks to EVERYONE that is helping watch our kids! New York, New York

That sounds like a blast! I am sure it has been awhile since you and Trent have had a break from the kids. You will have to give us details and take lots of photos.
Wow, I get to go to Portland. Not quite as exciting as New York. I highly recommend Juniors Bakery near time square. Way less crouded than the one at grand central station.

I love that this is be the only way you and I can actually communicate. I figure it's probably too late to call as I'm sure the whole day care would wake up. I'm sorry I've been hard to get a hold of - I feel like I've been on Mars the last few days.

I LOVE NEW YORK! Ben and I went there for our anniversary two years ago, and it was so much fun! I hope you have a great time! I found some GREAT headbands from a booth in the mall while I was in Utah (Southtown Mall). They have headbands that allow you to attach any bow with an alligator clip to it, so you can change out the bow to whatever you want. They are really cool. I have also found some great headbands on ebay. Just do a search under "infant hair bows," and you'll find TONS. I had a lady custom make me some when I sent her a picture of some dresses of Jacy's. I know, I'm a nerd, but I'm REALLY loving having a girl. Anyway, hope that helps!
