No "Sick Days" for Mom...

I wanted to call in sick this morning. I woke up freezing, my head hurt, my body ached, and I had some feelings of uneasiness in my belly. I heard Paige and Morgan talking to each other, but I continued to lay in my bed hoping all my kids would magically go back to sleep. No such luck. So, today will be a day full of TV shows and movies. Wait. Who am I kidding? That is what everyday is like in our house. The difference is I won't feel guilty about it today...

Dang Amy, I hope you get feeling better. That is hard to have timet to yourself when you're sick. Have fun watching movies! We do the same thing!

Good for you! Not that you're sick but that you won't feel guilty! Get some rest or should I say TRY and get some rest because it would actually be a miracle if you do!

Being sick stinks but especially for Mom's. Our whole family has had that dumb stuff for the past two weeks! Ryan even called in sick....which never happens. I told him that it wasn't fair though because I never get sick time off. :) So I am with ya on this one. Hope you feel better soon..good luck trying to rest.

Man, I woke up feeling like I needed a sick day today, too! I've been coughing my head off for days now and I can't seem to kick it. Can you imagine what it would be like to actually get a sick day??!! Like we did before our kids came along and we just had normal jobs to worry about. You could lay on the couch all day and just get better. Wow. Oh well, our kids are so worth it!! Hope you feel better soon!! :)

Oh No Amy! I had the flu last week and it was terrible! It just goes to show moms aren't invincible! Let me know if you are still going to have the party Friday...

I had the exact same thing yesterday. No fun. Sorry.

Sorry you're not feeling well. It does suck that moms can't call in sick. I've complained about that myself a time or two. Hope you get feeling better soon.

Yeah, we've been fighting a yucky cold around here as well. I'm just glad it hasn't spread to Annie - yet. Hope you feel better. And PS, I don't think you should ever feel guilty about movies and TV shows.

So sorry that your sick. I had that last week, only I didn't get to lay on the couch cause I had a million and one things planned all throughout the week. I hope it's not the "cold" we have been experiencing at our house. It really sucks! I hope you feel better soon!

Yuck Amy! I'm sorry your not feeling well. What can I get for you? Do you have any kids that aren't sick that I can take? I hope you feel better soon and if there's a good day to stay in and watch movies, it's today.

I'm sorry your sick, especially since you don't get a sick day! I do have to say I love that picture of you. Do you want to cuddle when I get home?

Ha! My first thought was, "Maybe she's pregnant" but no.... that thought went away :)
Just as a warning- I went to work today and the hospital is suddenly (within 3 days) bursting at the seams with influenza, RSV, and pneumonia, so keep that adorable little family of yours indoors and away from all of the bugs because I don't want to see them here! (They're cute, but I'd rather see them- and you- healthy).

Get well :)
