Wanna Play Kitchen?

I was upstairs doing whatever it is I do and decided I should go downstairs and check on Paige and Morgan. I heard them playing "Kitchen." I was so excited that they had been playing so well by themselves. I walked into the room and my excitement turned to utter despair. Morgan had thrown up all over the table, chairs, carpet, and even the kitchen cupboards. AND she was playing in it with the utensils and dishes!!! I felt like crying. Really, I did. I picked Morgs up and got her cleaned up. I didn't even want to go back downstairs and deal with the grossness that was awaiting me. I felt like ripping the carpet up and throwing it out. Have you ever tried to get throw up out of old shag carpet? I am so done with throw up.
I know. Gross. I just wanted everyone to get a little glimpse of what we deal with day in and day out.
Here Morgan is serving up a mean batch of regurgitated oatmeal and pears. Any takers?
I did finally start cleaning this mess up and upon finishing I came upstairs to find that Miss Oakley had thrown up all over herself. Ah, I love vomit. So, my friends, my ticker still hasn't gone up one day. I guess Jake was right. We should have the ticker count the number of HOURS without incident, not days.
~~~
On a much happier note it is Brooke's birthday today!!! Brooke is so fun to hang out with, shes beautiful, has multiple personalities (which I mean in a good way), and she loves my kids. And they love her just as much! We love you Brooke!
Happy Birthday!!!
Aiden and Andrew called Brooke today and wished her a happy birthday. Aiden informed Brooke that he was going to come down to St. George and make her a Birthday cake AND that it was going to be a flower cake. Brooke is so lucky to have Aiden to make her birthday so special! ;)
I'm sorry but consider myself fortunate that you had to deal with this one without me. Thanks for being the Mom of our insane world.
Eww I don't even know what to say about this post other then you are such a good sport about everything and a great mom! I think I'm going to pray for you tonight and hope that the ticker at least goes up to a 1.
Happy Birthday to Brooke! She looks like she's so much fun and she is so pretty!
I know you told me that your Dr. said that they would grow out of it but if I were you I would go to another Dr. and then another and then another until someone could come up with something to stop the vomit. I don't know you you handle that. I'm ready to pull my hair out with 3 kids and only 1 throw up in 5 years.
Yuk! I'm sorry! I'm sure I would be crying on a daily basis if on top of the craziness that five kids have to offer I had to deal with THAT too! So sorry, I'm with Miss I think I would get a second opinion.
Amy I feel for you! I absolutely hate vomit and I don't deal with it daily. Kudos to you...you deserve a serious night out!
cannot even capture how painfully sorry I am for you!! (and them...must be miserable for them too) I too would be pushing a little more for answers or potential remedies...but I'm not exactly the patient type! I hope the law of compensation applies to your daily vomit episodes!! bless you!!
Oh, Amy. I have no words for this. How ridiculously miserable. I don't think I can EVER complain about throw up again. Here's wishing you an incident free 12 hours . . . or more. xoxo
Bless you girl! You are superwoman. If I were you, I'd get another doctor's opinion on the kiddos, cause seriously? If the doc thinks it's fine, then tell him that he needs to come over full time to do the housecleaning. Hope the ticker gets to 1. Actually hope the ticker gets to at least 30! You're the best mom, Amy!
Oh no! Amy I'm so sorry!! That's so frustrating. There is nothing worse than vomit! Hopefully they'll outgrown this stage soon. You are such a good mommy!!
I can't say anything other than I AM SO SORRY. And, they get that sensitive gag reflex from the Veigel side. James has it too. Luckily it gets better when they get older . . . -B
I'm so sorry about the throw up. That is such an ordeal. And it always has that wonderful smell that goes with it. How do you even begin to get that out of everything? Your poor kids. I hope they can start keeping things down.
