Value Bracelets

We made value bracelets for Young Women's last night and I LOVE mine. I love that they are a modge podge of shapes and colors. We ended the night with our own home made Fh'zookies! Perfect! It was a fun activity and we have a great bunch of girls, even though only 1/3 of them showed up last night. Thanks to Kimmy who gave me the idea for the bracelets (and I also copied her photography skills)! I am still mad at my camera. My group shots never turn out clear. I guess I should break out the manual or take a class or something. I HATE when my pictures are blurry!

What a fun idea! The bracelets turned out so cute!

What kind of camera do you have? Maybe try making sure that you are focusing on somebody's face, then hold the shutter button halfway down until it beeps at you, or turns green (whatever your camera does to let you know that it is done focusing), THEN push the button all the way to take the picture. I don't know if that will help or not, but maybe it will. :) I can give you more tips if I know what type of camera you're working with. (My email is bmatcsmith@gmail.com)

Very fun!

Okay, random question: how do you make that one photo box hold 3 different pics? Is there a way to do it on blogger? Or do you have a different software on your computer then just download to your site? Just curious...

Also, regarding my post on Ghosthunters: they are a group of people that go into locations mainly looking to disprove the existance of ghosts. However, most times they can't de-bunk anything.. therefore PROVING the existance of paranormal activity in a location. They believe in the paranormal but always look for a way to disprove it. They have caught EVP (voices), apparitions and so many other cool ghost enounters. I love ghost stuff.. obviously why I love this show!

Sorry..that was uber-long :)

Cute idea! I miss my days of being in YW. It is the best calling. We are excited to see you guys in a couple weeks!! Oh also, about your previous post, I donated my Dr. Martens to a second-store recently too! I kept thinking eventually they'll wear out but I finally realized that they never do! Maybe someone else is enjoying them now, and maybe not. :)

Um... can I get more details on the bracelets and how to make them? What a great idea. I just got put into YW as the personal progress leader and I am always looking for ideas. If it is easier to email me and you really don't mind, I would appreciate it a ton! tiffanyjhatch{at}hotmail{dot}com
You should be glad you had 5 girls as a third of the YW. We have a total of 4 YW in our ward.

p.s. I have a pair of shoes I can't throw away either. I still have them and haven't worn them for probably 8 years. You are my inspiration. I wish I remembered where I stashed them???
