Driving...

For family home evening we decided to take a drive into the mountains. Seeing how we would be on a dirt road, going slow, with minimal traffic, Trent decided to let Paige and Morgan use some forward facing car seats. We still have 4 more lbs to gain before they can really switch to the fun seats, but it was fun to try out for a night. The girls loved it and it was fun to be able to look back and see ALL of our kids. They were all so cute, I had to capture the moment to share with everyone. We still can't believe we have five kids that have to be in car seats. It is unreal.

I love this picutre! I can't believe a lot of the things you guys deal with. Five kids and five car seats is one of them! Hopefuly you can get those girls to gain four more pounds so you can put them in those chairs! Can't wait to see you in two weeks! Don't let your kids forget me!

I cannot imagine what you guys deal with just to get them all in the car! I don't know if I'd have the motivation to go any where by myself! You have such adorable kids!

That is so funny and so cute. I Love it when the babes are old enough to turn around. It is so much easier. You are my hero!

I was so excited to have Alex in a front facing car seat, it is so much nicer. You guys are amazing! I can't trying to get everyone into a car seat. I would never leave the house.

That is an incredibly cute picture! I can't believe you have filled up an entire car with your kids! They all look very content despite being restrained. Cute!

What a great shot! It made me think of one eerily similar. It can be found here: http://dgwood.blogspot.com/2007/11/what-weekend.html (scroll down, it's near the end)

Not quite the same, but still five kids in car seats. Luckily some of mine are big enough to buckle up themselves. I want to know how you squeeze three full-size seats in the back. We struggle with that issue. Loved this post! Can't wait for you and the girls to be able to turn them around for good!

Ginny, Thanks for the link that I'm "unauthorized" to view. Better watch out for those pedophiles they may find you. Private bloggers are lame.

Amy I would invite you to view my blog but your husband is one of the crazy people I'm worried about.

I love going to drives beacause you literally can not do anything when they cry and you don't have to feel guilty! Looks like a filled up car(suburban?)They all are so cute...love it when they can turn front facing, it is so much fun to see all their faces. They are very cute. And your girls must love the dirt like Autumn's does. So cute...I am glad you captured their 'dirt days' super cute!

Why does seeing a pic of all your kids still baffle me? I don't know if I'll ever get over how many there are and how little they all are.

Paige and Morgan look so big in those seats. Wow. How big are they supposed to be to face forward? Fun that they finally get to see what the heck is going on the in world.

You amaze me! I can't even imagine having 5 kids in carseats at on time. That really puts it into perspective!

Trent's note on Melissa's blog made me laugh (I assume it was your Trent). He really has it out for those private bloggers! :)
