5 kids + 2 dogs = 2 stressed parents

We are having a hard time dealing with our life at the moment. It seems that when you have 5 kids in 2 1/2 years, a house/yard to maintain, our jobs, kids activities, family events, AND pets in your life, the animals get neglected. Poor Milo and Ody have gone from a great life to no life at our house. We don't have time to play, walk, or cuddle with them. Hey, we barely have time to feed them. We are looking for someone who might be interested in adopting them. They come with a kennel, dog bowls, dog bed, leashes, and a bag of food. Our wireless fence can also be negotiated into the deal (and by deal, I mean free). So if any of you out there know anyone that is looking into getting a dog/dogs let me know!

I will take the wireless fence system without the dogs.

I think your title should read: "5 kids + 2 dogs + 1 vagabond = 2 stressed parents"

I guess I should try to help out more, I guess it is good news for you that I have so much free time now!

We want them! Oh, never mind. Mike hates dogs. They'd probably have worse lives living with us than with you. They'd probably end up at the kennel if you sent them to us.

Good luck getting rid of them. Kind of sad seeing them go.

Poor Milo and Odie! We hope you can find a good home for them!

PS--You can't read Jake's article online on the link we posted--you have to subscribe to the journal. But I can email you a copy of the article if you are interested (it's kind of technical . . .). -B

ummmm....tempting, but i think we will have to pass. people ask me all the time why we don't have pets and i tell them i have plenty of feeding, waste and care issues with the humans in my life. i'm impressed you've lasted this long!! I hope they find a great home and yours gets a little less complicated (is that possible?)

NO I DON"T WANT DOGS...but it sure was fun to catch up on you last month or so. Loved the Halloween costumes and cute pictures at the farm. I haven't been to the Mandarin in ages. We'll have to get together.

They are such cute dogs! I really wish i could take them, but we are moving into Eric's parent's basement and there is no room for cute puppies. I hope someone nice adopts them from you!

Sorry you have to part with your dogs. I remember when you showed up to a bbq at Dodee and Papa's with them right after you got them. Hope you can find a home and a little more sanity.

Thanks for the head bands, I'm so excited there are two of each color. I'm going to Micheals to pick up some flowers right away.

Love all the pics from the farm, the little girls are precious.

OOOHH Poor Milo & Ody. Dogs are definetly a love hate relationship. They were your first kids but now you have better replacements!! I hope you can find them a good home!

That must have been a tough decision to get rid of them. That will be hard but I hope they find a loving home.

I think I remember hearing that the Obama family is looking in to getting a new dog for the white house.

I would really take Ody, but you would have to convince Luke to let me.
