The Zoo

Went to the zoo yesterday and had a great time, but by the end of the animal seeing I was ready to be done. My kids wear me out. Thanks to Brooke and Grandma Teri for coming and helping. Definitely couldn't have done it alone!
This is the kids favorite "animal" at the zoo. They would have just stayed right here for the whole 2 hours if I didn't make them continue on to see live animals.
Of course, the train. Another fave. Does anyone else think the train should just come with the price of the zoo admission??? Seriously.

The boys thought they were pretty funny getting "eaten" by the lion. Oakley did not even want to risk the chance of getting bitten and Paige and Morgan just watched from the safety of the stroller.

The gorilla. We didn't see any real gorillas so we played with the pretend ones (above and below).

What would a day with Brooke be without her being Brooke? She is crazy...in a good way.

That looks like so much fun. I really like your face in the gorilla pictures.

Looks like fun! I totally agree on the train, and the dumb merry go round. What a rip!

What cute pictures. I love those busy kids of yours. And, I love Brooke and Teri for helping you survive a trip to the zoo with five tiny ones.

That picture of Brooke is classic. How cute is she?!

So cute. I love the collage of all of you in front of the gorilla. I used to love posing in front of that as a kid and it is so cute to see all the different shots/silhouettes together!

Good times. It's so nice to have family to help out especially on adventure outings. Amy...I really don't know how you do it, you're a great Mom.

Hey- who are you working for now?

Looks like you guys had a good time. I think the train ride should be included in the zoo admission. That place is such a racket. I think Josh's favorite part was the big elephant also.

HAHA!! That picture of me is awful! :) Thanks for putting it on there. I had so much fun at the zoo with you guys! I still have NO idea how you do anything with your kiddos. Wow, so much work. I would love any picture you have with my in them from the zoo, I guess just any cute ones. (if there are any) Thanks again for letting Brad and I come up Sunday night. We'll have to do another crupt the R.M. movie night!

I love that they loved "the elephant", well, he probably does smell better, haha! Yea, I think the zoo is a little pricey all the way around, and we don't even do the train (I'm cheap) Cute pictures! I love you with the gorilla sillouette.

Sorry I didn't comment earlier, but our kids are so lucky to have a Mom like you. I know from personal experience how draining their antics can be, but you never shy away from an activity. If they didn't have you they would spend their entire lives wandering around our house trying to entertain themselves. Thank you for all you do as a Mom.

How fun! That makes me want to take my kids. I love your girls reaction to the drinking fountian. And yes, I think the fact that they charge for the train is so dumb.

How the heck did I get so behind on your blog. And how cute is Trent's comment? And how fun are you to take all your kiddos to the zoo. Wow. You're amazing.

Sorry I missed all the fun.

I know I'm way late in commenting (it's taken me a while to get back on my feet), but your post has convinced me that I need to go to the zoo this summer. Although I don't think it will be as fun as it could be with your kids there too.

i'm glad you had help! It would be so boring to go to the zoo without an adult to share the cute things the kids do.
