Preschool Time

I have 3 kids in preschool. So awesome. I love preschool. I love the break it gives me, I love the fact that I don't have to do the cute crafty things with my kids (the teacher handles that quite nicely), and I love that my kids love it. In fact my boy were so excited that I couldn't find them this morning. I had no idea where they were or how long they had been gone. I had the thought that they must have ran down to preschool. Sure enough I went down there and they were sitting on Mrs. Eggetts front step. I found out later they had been down there for a good 1/2 hour. What mom doesn't realize her kids are gone for a 1/2 hour?

Oakley

Here is the difference between my boys and Oakley:
The boys couldn't get there fast enough...again. They ran the whole way there.

Oakley was so excited, but nervous at the same time. She held my hand the whole way down. I LOVE this picture!
Overall, we had a great first day of school. The boys will have no problem adjusting to the life of a preschooler again. Oakley, being the shy one of the family, might need a few days to adjust and make new friends. Luckily, a cute girl from the ward is in her class. That should make things slightly easier.

For some reason that picture of Oakley holding your hand made me tear up a little! She is so cute. I think she is a lot like Megan too, Megan was so excited to go to preschool but a little nervous too. Also, like Oakley, she has a little friend there from Sunbeams which helps a little. Your boys are so funny! The picture of Aiden looks so much like Trent!

Oh, and the cupcake recipe is on my recipe blog (the link is on my blog - Buon Appetito). Enjoy!

Oh that Oakley of yours. Why is she so dang cute?? And your boys, now they are funny. Must be a great teacher if they were waiting on her steps a half an hour before school starts.

You've so earned the preschool break! How fun to just have the two girls for a few hours! And, I LOVE that your boys were so excited that they ran down and sat on the steps for a 1/2 hour. That's the best. Good luck to sweet little Oakley. She's a doll.

Are you kidding? If I had 5 kids I'm sure I wouldn't have noticed they were gone for even longer. I can't wait to hear how Oakley does. What an adjustment. Oh and I did get your message. I want to call and talk. As soon as I'm less drugged up I'll call.

Such a cute picture of Oakley...I love how excited the boys are for school. I remember those days. Unfortunately, though, Blake never liked the first day of school...we have pictures to prove it. haha

CUTE! I love that your kids were gone for a 1/2 hour and you had no idea where they were! And even better, that you found them on the steps of their preschool class. They are adorable. Cute pic of Oakley, she's a sweetie-pie. Hurray for preschool!
