The Winter Blahs.

I am done with winter. The snow is getting old. Its not pretty anymore. And I can't handle my kids in the house 24 hours a day. And I am sure they feel the same way. So, to help me with my winter blues I did a little shopping. I don't know if it helped or not, because I can't use/wear any of the stuff for probably 2 more months. Dang it.

Whenever I need a pick me up I head to Ross. Cute stuff for a good price, whats not to love? First little summerish find, a sundress:
I LOVE the bright colors and the pattern. AND it isn't way long on me. I have wanted one of these long dresses for the longest time, but since I am vertically challenged every one I tried on would drag on the floor. Until I found this beauty. It is the perfect length. I was so excited!
My next find was this awesome cooler:
I fell in love with the look of it right away. I think white, orange, and brown are always a good combo. Now I can't wait for our picnics in the park and being able to pull out a cold fresca to drink. Ahh.
Last up a new suit:

I got this from Hapari, not Ross, I have been wanting it forever, but could never bring myself to buy it. I finally just bit the bullet, put it in my shopping cart, proceeding to checkout, hit place order, and never looked back. I love the colors and the mix with the polka dots. AND I LOVE boy short swimsuits. Just gives me a little extra coverage around my thunder thighs.
So, now when I get mad at the cold weather I just pull one of these items out and dream about hot summer days. I know I shouldn't wish time away, but I just can't help myself...

I'm right there with you on being anxious for summer. If I could have summer all year, I'd take it! I love that sundress, it's so pretty! And that swimsuit is great.

Super cute stuff. I'm totally ready for summer now too. The winter blues are getting to me really bad lately. Especially since it has been clear but not warm.

I love it! Those are all beautiful finds. You make me want to buy a swimsuit but my body is so not ready for one. I love the boy short idea too. A must have. Yes, the winter blahs are still upon us. Good way to deal.

You got some GREAT stuff! I love that dress, it will be so cute on you! And I don't have need for a cooler, but I would have bought that just because it is cute, and I am most of all jealous of that suit. I don't know what it is, but I LOVE swimsuits and I bet that is so cute on you! I will have to see it all in person when we come over Friday.

Ugh. Amen to wanting/NEEDING winter to be over. I can't wait for March to begin even if the weather is still crappy. At least it'll feel more like Spring.

And I love your solution to the winter blahs. I'm heading to Ross this afternoon as well to see what finds my closet needs.

LOVE that swimsuit!

I'm done with winter too. Always am after Christmas (aka: a couple weeks after it starts). I love your new purchases! That maxi dress is so cute. I have the opposite problem - those dresses always hit me right above the ankles - equally as lame. I found one last year at Ross, I think, and I was so proud.

Super cute stuff. I love that swimsuit in fact I have the same one in the halter top! Good taste :) If it makes you feel any better it is snowing here in Texas and we aren't even suppose to get snow. Everything was shut down last week because the city doesn't even have plows! Crazy....I am with ya on wanting Spring.
