Grandma Wiggles

My grandma is was in need of some help so The Hoard travelled up to SV for a few days. Always crazy traveling alone with this bunch.

We stopped by to see Pom Pom too. We love our Grandma's.

Oakley found the creepy tissue holder and found a new use for it. It may or may not have given me nightmares.

We went to Pizza Hut for dinner. A must in Star Valley. Dine in Pizza Huts are the best. I had to add this picture even though it didn't turn out because Wiggles cracks me up. She had no idea what was going on and didn't even face the camera.

And here is a slightly better one. The lighting was horrible for my iphone camera.

We ran some errands and stopped by the bank. The kids tried to move this bench. They came pretty close....

I went running in the mornings and had quite the time of it. It was beautiful scenery, but the animals were crazy. I had a dog charge me and this black bird swoop down multiple times at me. Like I said CraZay.
Grandma doesn't have air conditioning of any type in her home and it was flipping hot. I would set up fans everywhere and Grandma would get up at night and turn them all off.

In the mornings bright and early, she would wake me up,  turn on her heater, and then fall right back to sleep in her chair. Good thing she's cute.

I took her to her physical therapy appointment.

And the kids went bowling with Megan.

The Hoard is amazing at bowling. ;)

We played outside for a while.

And then hit up Pizza Hut one last time. You can't have too much of a good thing right?

Loved the days we got to spend with Grandma Wiggles. Not so sure she like having us or not. She actually thought she was babysitting 6 kids.. Ha ha.

Love my Grandma.

And I loved getting in my care and turning the air all the way down to 60. It was heaven.

On the way home we drove the route for my 2nd leg of the Wasatch Back. My ovaries cringed slightly with recognition.

The New Yorkers

Jake, Becky, and boys came into town during July. We met up for some swimming.

And, of course, some more underwater pictures.

This kid was a crack up. Loved him.

Got to spend some time with my Madre.

We enjoyed some grapes.

One night the adults hit up Mandarin. It was super delicious.

And then Neilson's for dessert. We did the Alien Face in honor of its founder Jake.

Then we had a cousin lunch at Robintinoes. It is always smart to put a group like up in the back room.

Always fun when the New Yorkers visit and so excited that they will be coming back permanently this Winter!! Wahoo!

Grandma Teri's B-day!

The whole family was meeting up for Grandma Teri's birthday and the girls wanted to get all dolled up for the special occasion so we went curly. Loved that they have a little bit of natural curl in their hair.

We met up at Crown Burger and took over the whole upper level.

And enjoyed every last bite of food.
We will go to Crown Burger anytime for such an amazing Mom, Grandma, and Friend!!!!

Cousin Reunion

We had an Allred cousin reunion at my Aunt's Lisa's house in Logan. They have this huge slip 'n slide that my kids love. My kids asked all the time when we could go back so we jumped at the chance of another run down the hill.

On the way up Andrew caught up on his scripture study.

I didn't take many pictures. I was being lazy and enjoying the company too much. I stole this from Kim.

But I did have this awesome pic of me. See how fast we go? Look at that hair!

And here are some videos of our trips down the slide.

Always so much fun. Love my big, crazy family.

Beautifulness

We were walking down the make up aisle at Smith's and Aiden says, "Ugh. I hate the smell of beautifulness!"

4th of July

Now on to the 4th of July post. I really wish I would keep up on my blog so I didn't have to go back 3 months and try and remember my life.

For some reason we had no kids on 4th of July Eve so Trent decided it was a perfect time to weed all night. Hm.

And just a little throw back pic from the 4th in 2007. I am so little and pretty.

We always go swimming on the 4th and have a pizza lunch.

And we enjoy each other's company.

There is lots of playing.

Learning to swim.

And of course chicken fights.

And we came out of the pool kidless again AND there was a melted Hershey bar on my car. Perfect!

Later we met up at our house for dinner, dessert, and dancing.

Then headed to a local church for the firework show.

The next morning I got to run with the Grizzly. Always a favorite of mine. Not so sure how Trent likes running 2 minutes slower per mile. ;)

The next night we met up with the Veigel's for a 4th BBQ. There was a little mix up and we were told a different time than the rest so we missed half of it. Oops.

Another holiday come and gone.

HS Lunch

I met up with some of my High School friends for lunch. It is always a fun time and it always amazes me that we can basically pick up right where we left off. Had so much fun talking to these ladies for a couple hours.

And of course the food was delicious.

Intense Running

For some reason I signed up for the St. George Marathon. Actually, I know the reason. I wanted to loose weight and I figured training for a marathon had to do it. But guess what? It didn't and all I have to show for it are soar muscles and ugly toes.

Luckily Paige and Morgan stepped in and rubbed my back and tight hamstrings.

And there is not much I can do about my toes. I don't know what is up with them. They are just UGLY and gross.

Veigel Dinner

We had a Veigel dinner. We don't see the Veigel's very much and the times we do are always fun. I don't know why we don't do it more often....

And since I am such a slacker the only pic I took was of my family playing Ultimate.

I must do better next year when we see the Veigel's again. ;)
