It's in the Genes

It's a well known fact that Trent doesn't eat vegetables. And it is also well known that Aiden is his Mini Me. So of course Aiden will not eat veggies, not even corn, which is the best tasting one out there. The other night we forced him to eat a small spoonful, which took an hour to eat, and we even had to move him to the table and set up a barricade to keep him focused on the task.
Andrew on the other hand takes after me. He will eat veggies and really most anything else we put in front of him. But one of his favorite things to do is lick the bowl of any treats we make. Now those that know me know that I sometimes make home made chocolate cake batter and I never put any of it in the oven. It just sits in the fridge and I snack on it for a week...okay 2 days.
Looks like Trent and I both have our Mini Me's.
As you can tell we have really good eating habits here at The Hoard.

Oh my gosh. I can totally relate to making Aiden sit at the counter. That's out latest drama with Annie. We've been making her eat ALL of her meals -- and exactly what we're eating (instead of "kid foods") and we've had some serious battles. Gotta love those strong-minded kiddos.

I love the barricade so he can focus. So funny.

Papa Morris doesn't like vegtables either--Todd tells him to take a one-day-pill--does that help? I'm frustrated.

Who doesn't like corn?!?! :) Don't worry. I'm pretty sure the eating habits in the Stewart household are ten times worse than yours.

How funny that they each take after one of you! My child's eating habits make no sense to me and they perfectly resemble Scott's. Their picky nature's can get me down on even the best day!

Scary sometimes how much your kids imitate you! Love the snowshoeing adventure, looks like so much fun.
