I was walking around my house today following the destructive path of my kids wondering why we have toys. My kids don't play with their toys at all. They empty them out on the floor and then move on to the next room. Seriously considering getting rid of them all.
The first room of destruction. Doesn't look too bad because Trent barely threw away half the toys in this cupboard.
Not only do they empty toys, but they empty their dressers. I love folding clothes a few times after I do laundry.
Another example of toys everywhere NOT being played with.
And this is where they ended up. In the living room taking off all the cushions. At least they played in the cushions for 5 mins. Longer than they play with their toys.

So, if you need me I will be cleaning up the path of my kids.

It never ceases to amaze me why we keep buying toys for our kids. We know it only entertains them for 5 minutes but yet we keep doing it. My house is messy enough with two kids I can only imagine your destruction!
SO TRUE!! I love the picture of all of them playing in the cushions! So cute.
Right now Cole would rather cling to me than play with his toys. Even though, yes, the toy's are still all over his room!
Amy I need your email address.
I love that last picture of all of your kids together playing. Way cute!!!
It was so fun to hang out in St. George with you guys. So much fun.
It really is amazing how fast they can get toys out and move on to the next thing. Why do kids always find the most ordinary things so exciting?
HAHAH!!!! I LOVE this post! Your kids keep you so busy! I have NO idea how you do it! Go Amy!
Makes me laugh! I remember those days!
So hilarious! I could hear crickets chirping when I was looking at those toy filled rooms with no kids.
looks like my room! but wait.. i'm 21 with no kids.. oops.
I love that last pic too. It's so funny seeing all their little heads and bodies poking out around the cushions. That one if frame-worthy.
So funny. I always say it, but I'm just amazed you keep up with all those kids and still keep yourself together. You're amazing.
Kids sure can take care of a clean house in record time!!! It always amazes me.
I agree I love all their little head poking out and around the couch, so cute and funny!
Haha I continue to wonder why be toys too. They love to just make a mess. I can't imagine adding 4 to my destructive 1!
i feel like going and taking a nap just thinking about it...
You're amazing!
Where to begin... I really need to find time to blog more than once a month. I loved all your pictures. Looks like you've had some fun family outings. I'm starting to think every summer when I tell Josh let's go on a vacation and he says next year that he really means NEVER! THE MESS! Ahhhhh. Singing the clean up song doesn't even work for a mess like that. Good luck!
