My knee is still hurting. I couldn't even run 1/2 a mile today. Sad. I have been training all spring for the Bear Lake 10K and my knee decides to stop working 1 week before the race. Seriously? It makes me very, very angry. So, in hopes of a miracle ,I have been trying to ice it as much as possible. My kids were nice enough to make a stool and blanket fort while I relaxed with an Enfamil ice pack wrapped around my knee. I knew those free ice packs from the hospital would come in handy...

I am glad you are taking it easy! I am depressed because you are depressed. What will I do without my running partner tomorrow? It has to get better before our big race!!
I'm so sorry about your knee! I hope it responds well to the TLC you are giving it! Those ice packs are a staple at our house...for bumps, bruises, sprains, and lunch packs!!!

Oh no! Really? You MUST get that knee working before Saturday. I will cross my fingers for you too. HOpefully the ice will help. you tried the hot/cold packs?
All I can say is those are the skinnest legs I have ever seen.
