When that didn't work he went in with a needle! You will have to blow up the pic to really see it!
What kid will round up tweezers AND a needle to dig out a sliver? It was such a nice change from the kicking and screaming that is usually involved in the whole sliver extraction process.

impressive! i still have vivid memories of my mom extracting a sliver on vacation once. i think of it every time my kids freak out about the needle!
yikes! That's a big sliver! I hate those things...but nice for you he wants to take them out himself...maybe he'll be a surgeon!

We have one of those decks too. I don't even know how many silvers I have taken out of the boys this year. Just the daily grind I guess. Makes life interesting.
I love it when kids grow up just enough that they are able to tackle their own problems and you can just watch in excitement. The needle is a little scary. He's a brave kid.
