And the reason I didn't get to run this year. My dang foot. I saw a sports medicine doctor at the Marathon last week and as I described my symptoms/problems with my foot, she thought it was probably a stress fracture. Of course, she said I needed to come to her office to she could be sure, but then she said a stress fracture doesn't always show on the x-ray and there isn't usually much they can do besides keep off your foot as much as possible and maybe wearing a boot. So, I keep going back and forth about going to the Dr. for real. I hate spending money when nothing can be done. I swear, my body just doesn't want to cooperate with running.
Needless to say I am pretty frustrated.

BOO on the stress fracture!! :( I'm mad for you.
Good job to everyone who ran!!! So sorry about your foot--even when we want to exercise our bodies don't cooperate!
I love your watch.
I'm so sad about your stress fracture. I hope it starts to feel better soon. I love your watch too. And cute toe nails. Speaking of, we need to go get pedicures sometime. I hear pedicures help to heal stress fractures. ;)
I can honestly say that I hate that you are having this running problem. Not cool Amy...not cool.
Like the pictures of your kids in their sun glasses.
I hope your sore foot doesn't stop you from taking pictures!!!
I got a stress fracture in my heel last Fall jumping into a pool after my then 2 year old who thought she could swim by herself. It didn't show on the first x-ray, but it did a week or two later. I wore a boot for about 4 weeks and it wasn't too bad, especially since it gave my foot a chance to heal.
