Field Trip

We went on a field trip on Monday. The kids had a blast. We rode the bus into SL, which my kids thought was the coolest thing ever. We walked around the gardens listening to Mrs. Eggett teach the kids about everything. I swear she knows something about everything in this world.
Oakley, Andrew, and Aiden in front of the fountain. And, no, I didn't dress them the same on purpose. They picked out their own clothes.

And preschool is almost over. I thought I was going insane before....what am I going to do all summer!

Amy, I don't have five kids and I'm wondering what I'm going to do all summer. We'll have to plan lots of play dates. I'm already starting to brainstorm: the zoo, Liberty park, etc, etc. Annie and I are both dying to get out of the house.

I didn't even think of wandering around Temple Square. I'll have to try that one.

Bring them to my house. That way you will have a break from them.

I TOTALLY understand the apprehension of the impending doom of a whole summer with kids! It get a little better every year--trust me on this one. I'm actually pretty excited for the kids to be out of school this year--first time EVER!!!!

We have six crazy kids that we have to gear up for in the summer months especially. You should try taking a bunch of mini road trips. We do this all of the time and have a blast. We even created a family road trip idea website at: RadRoadTrips.com.

I recommend the travel activity books for kids. They are free, printable books that have fun activities and games for kids. Some of the activities involve the whole car as we want to keep parents involved with the kids off and on during the trip.

Good luck planning our your summer and getting emotionally prepared for all of the quality time you're going to be having with them! :)

That is the eternal motherhood question . . . what to do with your kids all summer. I predict James will be telling me within a week after school gets out that he's bored. Luckily we have Grey's to look forward to! B
