I am beginning to think Phil is as blind as a bat and wouldn't see his shadow if it was dancing right in front of him. So much for an early Spring. The kids couldn't be happier though. They all had to go play in the snow before school this morning.
I, on the other hand, am not so happy. Especially when I had to go out on a call in the middle of the night, in the thick of the blizzard.
And I don't think Trent is too happy either. He was up all night snow blowing and then had to wake up and do it all over again. And I have tried snow blowing with that beast of a machine. It is not as easy as Trent makes it look. But then again, Trent makes everything he does look easy.
So, here's to finding a new way for predicting an early Spring or 6 more weeks of winter. In the words of the Trumpster, "Punxsutawney Phil, you're fired!"

That comment with Trump is hilarious!
And maybe I'm being Negative Nelly, but I felt the same way when I opened my blinds this morning. Ugh!!!
Haha I'm loving this kind of snow because there is a lot, but by tomorrow, most of it will be gone. That's the kind I can deal with. I'm still optomistic about the early spring. Our trip down semi-south will change all that, you'll see...
And Oliver cracks me up in that first pic.
I thoroughly feel your pain. If it makes you feel any better Jake actually heard that Phil's percentage of being correct about spring is less than 50. Chance is better than he is.
I can't even BELIEVE how much snow you guys got! Crazy. I am so ready for spring, much like you. And I am still LOVING your hair cut!
Also loved the story on Aiden and Andrew!
Ugh I totally agree!! I am so tired of the cold and ready for spring! I need to be able to send the kids outside to play without having to bundle them up!
PS I love your hair cut too! Super cute! When are we going to hang out again?
Fun! I love the way the snow looks and I love that it was warm today and lots of it melted.
My kids loved it too. I just want spring. I had daffodil and crocus buds coming out of the ground which made me super excited for spring. UGH. No more snow.
