One of my latest "things" has been serving ware. Not that I have much "serving" to do, but I love finding cute ways to present food. So, my latest thing I have wanted to have was one of these plate towers. Yesterday my mom and I ventured out to Tai Pan and found this. I love it. And I am loving the vintage yellow plates! I justified this purchase because I needed it for the shower we are doing for Kimmy. Can't you just imagine these plates full of cream puffs and peanut butter. Oh, so good...
I also need a punch bowl for the shower. Does anyone know where I can get a inexpensive, simple, BIG punch bowl?

I think that is way cute! I have acutally seen people have those for decoration as well. (With fruit and such on it) That is fun! Have fun using it for the shower!
Hey, that stuff is interesting to me, too! I love that color of yellow... and everything vintage!
Amy, I can 100% appreciate your new purchase. I LOVE things for the home. Well, I pretty much love anything new. Love the dishes. Seriously, love them. Congrats on your new buy. Can't wait to come to a party and see them in action.
I love those plate racks. My mom has some and they look so cute with the layers of food! Oh, and LOVE Tai Pan ~ every time I am in Utah I almost wish I drove there so I could bring more stuff home!
it is exciting to me too
I am so excited for this shower! It's going to be the best party ever and I'm glad that you can use me as an excuse to buy new things.
I actually bought a huge punch bowl from there too... Well, I don't know if it's really a punch bowl, but that what I use it for. You can use mine if you want.
Love your plate rack and those fabulous plates. So cute. I need to start buying more serving items myself. Everytime I host something, I always do it ghetto style because when I'm shopping, I just don't usually think about purchasing serving dishes. You've inspired me. Wish I had a good tip for your punch bowl . . . good luck. Can't wait to see pics from the shower with all your great new stuff! :)
So cute! I love Tai Pan!
