A Mouse in the House

I was eating some cheese and crackers (one of my favorite treats) and left to change a diaper or something. I came back to find that someone (or something) had nibbled on my block of cheese. I asked who did it and Andrew replied, "I was just being a mouse."

Thank goodness it wasn't a real mouse! That would be so awful!

That is too funny! You have to love their train of thought!

The logic of a child. I love how taking something that isn't yours is justified if you are pretending to be something else. It seems like everytime I ask the kids why they are doing some questionable activity there is a similarly rational explanation. "Why did you hurt Oakley", "Because she was an alien." "Why are all my flowers gone?" "Because they are evil." I'm watching a movie after all the kids are in bed and suddenly Aiden and Andrew are sneeking in the TV room. When I asked what they were doing, Andrew responds, "Aiden is out of bed."

You've got to love how kids minds think.

That is so cute! Where does Andrew pick that stuff up?! You'll have to tell Andrew I've never gotten a letter in that mail! :( I'm going to sit by my mailbox until I get one! :)
