I have been looking forward to our Girls Weekend for months now. It was like Christmas for me. A weekend full of shopping, eating, scrapbooking, reading. jewelery making, and sleeping. AND no kids (well, except for cute little Annie.) Trent was not only so nice to watch ALL the kids ALL weekend, but he managed to clean the WHOLE house and update our blog! What kind of husband can do all that??? Well, mine!
The weekend started with a couple trips to some scrapbooking sales. We stopped for some lunch and then headed up to the outlets. And we shopped and shopped and shopped. We found some good deals and very cute clothes. Then to the last stop of the trip, the Jensen cabin. I really had the best time and couldn't have asked for a better weekend.
Jenny, Jill, and me at Molca Salsa for a breakfast burrito. This is the start of our gorge fest this weekend!Shopping at the outlets. Unfortunately none of us made a purchase at this store. Shoot.
Trying on a few cute things at the Gap. I think 4 of us ended up with the same shirt.
Another yummy meal at one of our favorites, Cafe Rio. You just can't beat their dressing!

This is how much stuff we packed for our weekend. With 7 girls, a baby, and all our scrapbooking and jewelry stuff we barely fit everything in. And I mean barely.
Starting to get organized. We had a few days of scrapbook heaven in front of us!
Getting ready for our show and tell. It was really fun to see all the fun stuff everyone got!Teri and I bought 2 of the same shirts. Most people might be horrified if they had the same shirts as their mother-in-law, but I don't have that problem. I have a very nice and normal mother-in-law with good taste in clothing! ;)
Because of all the eating I still had to make time for a run. During the run I was honestly wondering why I was doing it, but after, as always, I was glad I went.
At the end of the trip I was an expert in packing. I really don't know how we fit everything in!

Now back to real life.
Thanks to all the girls that made it so much fun and a BIG thanks to Trent who made it possible for me to go!

It was a great weekend! I'm glad you're normal and we love you so much. We're lucky to have you in the family. And I can't believe Trent did all that! Wow! He's a good husband.

It sounds like heaven! Well, except for the scrapbooking part... ;)
Can't wait to see all your new clothes and your pages.
Will you ask your mother-in-law if she will just adopt me? I have never done anything like that with my in-laws. I'm jealous.
That looks like such a fun weekend!
Well, I am jealous that you all had a weekend at the cabin, and I am especially jealous that you got a run in... But I cannot say I am jealous of the shopping and scrapbooking.
Looks like a great time. The Jensen girls are all so cute ~ the funny thing is, you look like you are their sister. That was also great of Trent to fill your shoes for the weekend! See you soon!
I can't believe you guys do so much stuff! That's so great! I'm extremely jealous, but very happy that you guys have such a great, loving family who likes to hang out! Looks like so much fun!

THose picutes of before and after are really neat. Your house looked nice in the before photos, but wow the after are just georgous! Nice job you guys!!! And super impressed that Trent stayed home with all 5 kids the entire weekend, and you came home to a clean house....WAY TO GO TRENT!
Hope the potty training is going smoothly!
And I like that song written about the Twilight book. I am glad to know that I am not the only that has fallen in love with a vampire...ha ha kidding...but I really do like the books, and that song too!!!
Wow you are a lucky woman. First of all I can't believe that Trent spent the entire weekend being Mr. Mom, but the blog post was just too much. He is amazing, and your house looks so good! I can't wait to see it in person when I come to Kimmy's shower! I am excited for that by the way. See you on Thursday!
