So, after taking my kids to 3 different places and to lunch I have settled everyone down for quiet time. I hope I can get myself motivated to do it all again in just 2 hours.

Our Costumes!!!
I have been bugged to get a post up for this year's Halloween costumes. Really, not too creative or exciting this year. The kids have realized they have minds of their own and mom's control is a thing of the past!
I decided not to try and fit exercise in my schedule today, because getting myself, Trent, and 5 kids in costumes is enough of a workout. And we have to do it all over again tonight.....
My Oakley. She is so funny. Whenever I asked her what she wanted to be for Halloween she would say, "Spiderman, Tinkerbell, and Superman...so much costumes!" So, here is our version of a TinkerSpiderSuperman Fairy!
I had to get a shot of the back so you could see the Superman cape. She had a Spiderman costume underneath the Tinkerbell one. Hilarious!
The boys have been really into the movie Speed Racer these days, so of course they had to be characters from the movie. Aiden is Speed Racer himself and Andrew is the good bad guy Racer X.
And I just found the cheapest costumes that would fit for the girls. They are supposed to be Bat Princesses. I think they are pretty darn cute. It was hard to get them to sit still for the photo shoot though...
And I just had to throw this picture in. Isn't that precious?
We went to Trent's work to do some Trick or Treating. Everyone there is so nice to have so much candy. The kids came home with bags full of yummy treats!
Trent and I dressed up as some Harley bikers. You may have to enlarge the picture to appreciate Trent's facial hair. I love it!!! Thanks to my parents for the leather chaps, Kimmy for some sweet earings, and to Ross for selling some rockin' T-shirts!

Halloweens Past...
I was thinking about our past Halloweens and how much fun I have had getting my kids costumes together. This is the first time in 3 years that we haven't added 1-2 kids to the mix. It feels kind of weird. So here is to years past and, hopefully, a lot more years to come!
2003: The year of the Dog
Milo and Ody. Poor guys. This was back in the day when we actually had time to play with them and care about them. This was as far as our costumes got with them.
2004: The year of the Fat Girl
I didn't dress up for Halloween this year. I just went as a fat, pregnant girl. This is actually 3 months before Aiden and Andrew were even due. Yikes. I was large and I just got bigger with each pregnancy.
I love themed costumes, so this year we decided that the kids would be so cute as Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum, and Alice. My mom did a superb job on the costumes. Trent and I were the Queen of Hearts cards.
My cute little Alice in Wonderland. I love how well the costume came together!
And what can I say about these costumes. They turned out so perfect and I love their big bellies too!
Aiden and Andrew really wanted to be the black and red spider man this year, so everyone else's costumes spun off that!

You can tell who is who by how tight the masks are on the head. Since Andrew has a HUGE head his mask was so much tighter. Hilarious!
2003: The year of the Dog
2004: The year of the Fat Girl
2005: The year of Dr. Seuss
Since I didn't find out what I was having with Aiden and Andrew, we would call them Thing 1 and Thing 2. So what better costume than that!
Trent and I actually dressed up this year as an old couple. Check out Trent's baldness. Classic!
2006: The year of Alice in Wonderland
2007: The year of the Spider

Witches!
Today we went to Gardner Village to see the Witches! They really do some pretty cute things there. At one point the kids were Screaming at the top of their lungs. I think everyone enjoyed the experience. And I even got some of the best rolls ever at the bakery! I can't wait to cook them and have some delicious, hot rolls!

The only one brave enough to sit by the witch was cute little baby Annie. And I love how she is looking at that Spooky arm!
Paige and Morgan were so good to sit in their stroller the whole time. I don't think I ever heard them cry once.

Halloween Party
Have I said that I love Halloween? We had my family over for a Halloween party family night. We made pizzas, had bones and blood, and Kimmy's delicious sugar cookies. Fat Girls No Mo' has gone out the window and I am afraid it won't be coming back until the holidays are over.
The kids got jack-o-lantern punch balloons. Of course they don't punch them, they use them to hit each other. Oh, well. They had a good time either way!
Baby Oliver was the cutest little mummy I have ever seen! And I am glad Kimmy dressed up too. She is one hot mommy mummy!
We played the donut game. My kids didn't quite understand what it was all about. They would just grab the donut and eat it. Sarah rocked though!
My kids lost interest so I finished off 2 donuts. Yes, my friends, 2. Like I said, see ya later diet!
We finished the night off with a Halloween Scavenger Hunt. The kids had a great time and loved all the little "treasures" they found.
Here is Oakley showing off one of her treasures-vampire teeth. I love how scary she looks!
~
Only a few more days to celebrate Halloween. I think Trent is going to be glad when it is over. He doesn't share my excitement when it comes to these kind of things. But he does whatever I need done to get ready for the parties I plan. So, thanks to Trent and the rest of you for coming and supporting my obsession with parties and such!!!

Pumpkin Patch and Mexican Food!
Saturday night we ventured out to our local "pumpkin patch." The kids had a lot of fun running around the place. It took a while to find 5 perfect pumpkins that the kids could "pick out". I have a problem-I must have perfectly shaped and colored pumpkins. My poor kids. It really isn't fair to them, but the pumpkins we got will look perfect on our front porch!
Aiden thinking he found a perfect pumpkin. Not quite, but getting closer.
Andrew was hating getting his picture taken. He just wanted to run around.
Oakley with a pretty perfect pumpkin!
Paige loved walking around the whole place pointing at the different pumpkins.
Morgan found this one right when we walked in. She was so excited.
We tried to get a good group shot with the kids. It really is hard to get them all to look at the camera and smile at the same time.
Paige and Morgan with Grandma and Grandpa
I told you Andrew was hating getting his picture taken. Trent was starting to have the same feelings...

Leaves!
Yesterday, while the boys were at preschool, us girls decided to play in some leaves-a first for Paige and Morgan! A little cold, but the girls still had a great time!
I would throw the leaves up and they thought it was the funniest thing ever. Kids...so easily entertained.
