"The Zen of Blu"

We had a viewing of Iron Man last night. It started out with Jamie and Mike (Trent's sister and husband) coming up for a movie night, then Jill (another sister) thought she should come with a date, next James and Josh (yet another sister's kids) decided they wanted to hang out with the cousins, and last Teri (Trent's mom) called and invited her household up. ;) We had a great "dinner" that consisted of appetizers; bread dip, mozzarella sticks, potato skins, chips and dips, spicy chicken, salad, shrimp, and oreo dessert. It was ALL delicious. Thanks to everyone who came and brought such good food.

Then came the real reason for the party: Iron Man on blu ray. For those of you who know Trent you know that he is very into movies-not only the plot, but the crispness of the sound and the clarity of the picture. He was inviting people in emails yesterday to come experience the "zen of blu." And he really wasn't kidding. He is that obsessed. It was a great night and the movie did not disappoint. I am already ready for the next big release to have another "relaxing" night of eating and movie watching.

Trent, Amy told me you didnt like the music? Sorry it wasnt 80 tecno. I geuss computer genterated music would have been more appropriate. One of my favorite movies can wait to see it on blu ray!

Amy, You are blogging Wonder Woman. Wow. You were quick. I was trying all day to get my post done. Thanks again for last night. All the food was so, so good. I was seconds right now. You guys are always so good to have us all up there.

I haven't seen that movie but have heard it is really good. We are too cheap to buy blu ray. Although Kurtis is similarly obsessed with HDTV cable channels. If it is not broadcast in HD, he basically won't watch it.

Hum, Trent is really not going to like me now. I've never even heard of Blu Ray. Wow, I'm almost afraid to post this for fear of what he might say. Here goes nothin.

The best part of that all would have been the eating for me. You can never go wrong when there is food. That's probably why I've gained so much this pregnancy.

Thanks for taking the boys. Brand and I are such party poopers!! Josh had so much fun. Nothing better for that kid then being with his cousins, "The Team". As always fun to hang out.
